Study Duration

Study duration is four (4) years or twelve (12) Semesters

Local student (HS408) - RM61,625.00
International student (HS408) - RM71,420.00
Industrial practitioner: Government / Private sector  (HS409) – RM61,625.00

Entry Requirements

Local Student

Passed STPM/Matriculation/Pre-University program with minimum GPA of 2.33 in TWO of the following subjects:

  • Biology
  • Physics/ Mathematics
  • Chemistry

OR, A-Level with minimum Grade D in the following subjects:

  • Biology
  • Physics/ Mathematics
  • Chemistry

OR, Related Diploma from recognized institutions with minimum CGPA of 2.75;

OR, Related Diploma from recognized institutions with CGPA below than 2.75 and a minimum of THREE (3) years working experience in the same field.

AND, MUET* Band 3.

*Exemption of MUET is given to candidates who hold a diploma or foundation that is conducted in English

International Student

Proficiency in English (Required for those whose medium of instruction is no in the English language.)

Pass International English Language Testing Services (IELTS) with a minimum of 5.5 orTest of English as a foreign language (TOEFL) with a minimum of 550

Careers

Environmental health science careers might be mostly field-based or entail policy work, legislation, and other aspects of environmental sanitation, preservation and regulation. They may examine field data to determine levels of pollution in the air, water, or soil, or they may monitor climatic changes and other environmental variables. 

Environmental health practitioners, on the other hand, may communicate data and findings to partner agencies, policymakers, legislators, and the general public. Some of the most well-known public health occupations in environmental health are:
