Universiti Selangor is previously known as Universiti Industri Selangor was established in August 1999, wholly-owned and managed by the Selangor state government independently.
The university operates two campuses: The main campus at Bestari Jaya and Shah Alam, the city campus. The establishment of our university is harmonized with the State Government’s goal to make Selangor the leading regional education hub.
Selangor plays a dynamic role in the conveyance of higher education programs in order to heighten the development of human capital excellence. As one of the earliest private institutions of higher learning in Malaysia, UNISEL is unique as it is Malaysia’s first state-owned university.
The establishment of the Faculty of Health Sciences, UNISEL was an initiative to fill in the country’s need for professionals in the health sciences field.
All programs offered by our faculty have achieved full Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) accreditation and recognized by the Public Service Department (JPA) and Malaysia Nursing Board.
