Welcome to the Faculty of Health Sciences.
I am Mohd Sharikh Dali Mahad, the Dean at our esteemed faculty. Our mission is to train healthcare professionals who are knowledgeable, skilled, competitive, and sensitive to human values through research-based teaching. Our vision is to be recognized as a leader in the health sciences, known for generating innovative healthcare professionals who embody excellence and integrity. We are proud to announce that all our academic programs have been accredited by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) and the Department of Higher Education (jPT). Recently, our Selangor Frontliner Apprenticeship Program (SELFA) – Hospital Scholarship Program (HSP) has gained significant attention, offering full scholarships with allowances for diploma nursing students and soon to be extended to other programs within our faculty.
Our faculty consists of three specialized departments: the Department of Environmental Health and Occupational Safety (EnvOSH), the Department of Medical Diagnostics (MedX), and the Department of Healthcare and Rehabilitation (HCare). Each department is committed to providing top-tier education and training, ensuring our graduates are well-prepared to meet the challenges of the healthcare industry. We have established strong partnerships with private hospitals, medical laboratories, industries, and community organizations, enhancing our students’ learning experiences and contributing to the broader healthcare community.
