Entry Requirement
To enroll in the Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology program, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Main
- Not Credit Math/ Science?
Possess SPM or its equivalent, with FIVE (5) credits (Grade C) in the following subjects:
- Mathematics
- Any ONE (1) subject of science (Physics/Chemistry/Biology/General Science/Applied Science)
- Any THREE (3) subjects (including Bahasa Melayu and/or English if credit)
OR
A pass in STPM or its equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 and a minimum of Grade C (GPA 2.00) in any ONE (1) of the following subjects:
- Mathematics
- Biology
- Chemistry
- Physics
OR
A Certificate (Level 3, MQF) in related field with a minimum CGPA of 2.00;
OR
Other relevant equivalent qualifications recognised by the Malaysian Government.
Those without a credit in Mathematics and/or Science subjects at the SPM level or equivalent as required by the programme can be admitted but are required to attend special enhancement course(s) prior to commencement of the study.
These special enhancement courses should be SPM equivalent and remedial in nature. Students must pass the Mathematics and Science subject enhancement courses as a prerequisite to the related core courses.
